
Fixed-Fee Estate Planning Package
Our fixed-fee Estate Planning Package, gives individuals and families an affordable and straightforward way to put the right legal protections in place for the future.
The fixed-fee includes: advice and guidance on a Will and Lasting Powers of Attorney; preparation and execution of a standard or mirror Will; completion and submission of Health & Welfare and Property & Financial Affairs LPA applications; and initial guidance on anticipated inheritance tax liability might be. However, advice from an independent financial advisor will also be required. This package offers a saving of approximately £125 when compared to purchasing each service individually.
The Estate Planning Package has been designed to make estate planning as simple as possible. Clients will receive expert legal advice tailored to their individual circumstances, ensuring their wishes are clearly documented and their loved ones are protected.
Clients will attend an initial appointment of approximately one hour to discuss their circumstances and instructions. Draft documents will then be prepared for review before a second appointment is arranged for signing. Once signed, Clough & Willis will submit the Lasting Power of Attorney applications to the Office of the Public Guardian for registration.

What will be covered:
- Advice and guidance on your Will and Lasting Power of Attorneys
- Preparation and execution of your Will;
- Completion and submission of your Lasting Power of Attorney documents;
- Advice on anticipated inheritance tax liability;
What is not included:-
- Complex Wills including Trusts (a surcharge will be applicable);
- Financial advice; we can provide an indication of the estates anticipated tax liability and provide general guidance on how to mitigate this, but financial planning will need to be independently sought;
How long will the service tax:-
- You will attend an initial appointment for approximately one hour, following which your documents will be prepared and sent to you in draft format. Once you have approved the documents, a further appointment will take place to sign the documents.
- Appointments are subject to mutual convenience.
- How long it takes to submit your Lasting Power of Attorney’s following signing is subject to your attorney(s) returning their signed page(s).
- The Office of Public Guardian currently take 8 – 10 weeks to register your Lasting Power of Attorneys. It is important that you are aware of this, as your documents cannot be used until they are registered. Unfortunately, we have no control over the Office of Public Guardian’s timescales.
When are fees payable:-
- Our fees are payable following signing of your Will and prior to submission of your Lasting Power of Attorney’s.
