Marie joined Clough & Willis in 1998 and became a Partner in 2008. Marie has vast experience and up to date specialist knowledge about family law.
She has Accredited Specialist status with Resolution, a well known respected national organisation committed to resolving family problems in a constructive, non-confrontational way.
Marie has specialist expertise in resolving financial issues, following divorce. She represents a wide range of clients from housewives/house husbands, tradespeople, professionals, the self employed and business owners to include high net worth individuals.
Marie has detailed knowledge of the law and procedures and takes pride in delivering technical excellence. She deals with all types of orders the Court has the power to make, for example, maintenance payments for yourself and/or children, lump sums, property adjustment (transfers and sales) and pension sharing.
Marie enjoys long standing professional relationships with other experts who may need to be involved in your case to resolve specific complex issues, for example, property valuations, business valuations and liquidity, tax and pensions.
Once full information and documentation is available with regard to both parties financial circumstances, Marie will advise you on settlement proposals.
