Legal injunctions
A legal injunction is a court order that requires a party to take certain steps, or prevents them from carrying out certain activities. There are many commercial scenarios that may lead to an injunction, most commonly where irreparable damage can be caused, if not addressed.

Types of injunction
- Search Order: Requires the defendant to allow the claimant to search for evidence likely to be disposed of on notification of a claim.

- Disclosure order: Requires a party to search for documents that are relevant to the dispute with the other party prior to judgement and sometimes prior to proceedings.
