Clough & Willis advises JamJar Investments on £7m Investment Deal

Clough & Willis advised JamJar Investments, the venture capital fund of the founders of Innocent, in its joint investment with Piper Private Equity in Propercorn, the fast-growing popcorn brand. The total investment of £7m sees Adam Balon who co-founded Innocent as the chairman of Propercorn.

Propercorn was started in 2011 by Cassandra Stavrou and her friend Ryan Kohn. She went on to win the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year in the New Generation Award category. Propercorn trades on its unique brand of novel recipes and is increasingly stocked in supermarkets and by other retailers.  The new investor funding together with the resources of the investors will aim to grow the brand presence further across theUK.
