Residental work
Lorraine has experience in dealing with all types of property transactions and deals with properties all over the UK from terrace houses to the largest domestic residences. Lorraine also has a vast amount of knowledge regarding buying and selling apartments and flats and dealing with Management Company issues.
Lorraine's expertise is in dealing with possessory title applications. She has a particular interest in this area as it is specialised and very rewarding when the outcome is successful for the client. There is a vast amount of land in the UK that is in the possession of someone who is not the actual owner and being maintained by them. In these instances an application could be considered to the Land Registry for possessory title and seldom is this done.
Advising clients on the legal implications of purchasing a property that is Listed or is situated within a Conservation area is something that Lorraine has much experience in, as well as dealing with both Barn conversions and Self-Builds. If you require legal advice regarding any of these matters or unusual property issues please contact Lorraine or her team of property law specialists.
Lorraine also has extensive experience in advising on Equity Release. This is a specialised area and Lorraine offers comprehensive advice as well as support and understanding in these matters. Lorraine listens to clients concerns and helps to resolve them. She is patient and reassuring and her main goal is to ensure that the client is happy with the conclusion.
Lorraine also deals with Transfer of Equity, again ensuring that the transfer from joint names to one or from sole to joint runs smoothly. Usually, during this time a client will already be dealing with a number of stressful issues.
With a professional and friendly approach to her clients Lorraine has, as a consequence, received the majority of her work from both recommendations and referrals. Her reward is knowing that she has enabled a client to move house without the stress that is normally associated with moving.
Commercial Property
Lorraine also deals with all aspects of commercial property law including negotiating lease terms, buying and selling commercial properties and acting for Company owners when legal advice is required in financial matters. Lorraine acts for businesses across the North West area.
