Shefali became a Partner in Clough and Willis in 1997 and became Managing Partner in 2003, leading the firm's strong development from that time. She also specialises in residential property law and has built a well respected property conveyancing team.

Shefali is extremely active within the local legal community. A past president of the Bury and District Law Society, she also became the first female president of the Association of North West Law Societies in 2006. She is Vice Chairman of governors at Bury Grammar Schools and is heavily involved with local organisations, such as the Greater Manchester Chamber.
Shefali is married and shares her love of music with her daughter, regularly going to a wide selection of concerts. She also enjoys swimming and reading.
Shefali graduated from Hull University in 1985 and continued her education at Chester College of Law. She qualified as a solicitor in 1988 and worked in a firm in Blackburn before starting at Clough & Willis in 1991.
