Richard started his career as a solicitor with Clough and Willis in 1969, becoming a partner in 1972 and a Senior Partner in 2003. Richard heads up the Commercial Law department and specialises in corporate law and commercial property, acting for a number of large organisations across the North West.
Richard has been married to Prue for 38 years and has a son and a daughter. A keen sportsman, Richard is an avid football supporter and has turned his hand to playing squash, cricket, tennis and football in the past and has been secretary of Worsley Golf Club.
Richard graduated with a Law degree from The Victoria University of Manchester. He continued his education at the Guildford College of Law before completing his articles at Clayton Castle and Monks, qualifying as a solicitor in 1968.
