Having studied for a degree in Belfast and studied Law at Chester College of Law Laura joined Clough & Willis as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2007 before qualifying as a Solicitor in September 2009.
Laura spent the final 12 months of her training contract in the Litigation Department and received training from all three of the firm's litigation Partners.
She now specialises in civil litigation and employment law.
Her areas of legal expertise include:-
Insurance Claims
Laura pursues claims in the County Courts across England dealing with outlay, credit hire and excess claims. She also deals with Household claims and claims brought by a national insurance company based on Misrepresentation/breach of insurance policy.
Sale of Goods Act / Consumer Credit Act Claims
Laura acts for both Claimants and Defendants in relation to claims involving goods and services and consumer credit finance agreements.
Employment Law
Laura acts on behalf of Claimants in respect of claims brought in the Employment Tribunal and also deals with Compromise Agreements.
At home
Laura enjoys travelling and keeping fit.
