Olympic gold medal rower James Cracknell has pledged his support to the brain injury charity Headway and is fronting the "Use your head, use a helmet” campaign.
One year ago James nearly died whilst cycling when he was hit from behind by a truck travelling at 70 mph. He suffers from memory loss and personality changes. His life has been completely changed by the accident but his helmet saved his life. He hopes to make a full recovery and is already back on a bike. But, as James says, some cyclists never ride again.

And remember - wear a helmet when riding your bike. It could save your life.
