



Bolton and Bury business people were out in full force on 26 June to celebrate The Bolton News and Bury Times Business Awards 2008.
Clough & Willis were proud sponsors of the Customer Excellence Award. Other categories were Start-up Business of the Year, sponsored by The Charles Topham Group and won by Greenwood James Estate Agents, SME Business of the Year sponsored by CLB Coopers was won by Imerja Limited. The Technology, Innovation and Design Award was sponsored by Natwest Bank with Discrete Heat Co Ltd taking the prize. Young Entrepreneur of the Year was sponsored by iTeddy and won by Saj Kadva of Leisure Guard Security (UK) Ltd. Family Business of the Year was sponsored by Warburtons and was won by Advance Ventilation, whilst Business Person of the Year was won by Fazila Malek of Fazila Foods Ltd. Business of the Year award was sponsored by The Royal Bank of Scotland and won by Bromak.
Following the successful evening, Miss Talukdar commented, "my congratulations go to all those businesses that were either shortlisted or won awards. The standard of the awards is extremely high and it goes to show the calibre of businesses based across the region."
