Clough & Willis Promote Family Law Solicitor Marie Whittaker to Partner

Bury firm Clough & Willis Solicitors have promoted family and divorce law solicitor Marie Whittaker to Partner. Marie has specialised in both family and divorce law for over 20 years and has been with Clough & Willis for over 9 years; she is a member of the Law Society Family Panel and was the first solicitor in Bury to become Resolution Accredited.

Marie comments 'in today's environment family matters can often be quite complex. Many people divorce and re-marry and often co-habiting couples make assumptions about their legal rights. When clients first approach me to act for them, they are often going through a phase of upset and unrest. It is a challenge to support them through an emotional time and seek to resolve their issues; it gives real job satisfaction to see clients come out the other side'.

Lorraine Stratton-Webb has been promoted to Associate. Lorraine has been with Clough & Willis Solicitors for 4 years and is a specialist in Residential and Commercial Property Law work. She is also experienced in advising clients on equity release.
